Industrial Chimney Maintenance Inc. has developed an inspection system which allows clients to obtain digital video recordings of the interior of small diameter chimney liners where physical inspection is not possible.

Remote Cam^TM inspections have many applications but can be particularly useful when appliances are replaced or upgraded because, in these cases, TSSA requirements and the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code (CSA – B194.1 – 05) require that a chimney inspection be performed.

Remote Cam^TM inspections can be performed on steel, brick, concrete and refractory lined chimneys. Remote CamTM customers typically are in the institutional (schools, hospitals, museums, etc.), commercial (shopping malls, hotels, office buildings, apartment buildings, etc.) or small industrial sectors.

Our Remote Cam^TM inspection service includes a full inspection of the exterior and the interior of the chimney. We physically inspect the chimney breachings. For steel chimneys we take ultrasonic thickness measurements at regular intervals. A written report is provided with digital photos as well as a video recording of the interior surface of the chimney liner.
